What is Hypnotherapy, and how does it work?
Hypnotherapy is a combination of a deep anamnesis (understanding your current state) and understanding your future, desired state, combined with the process of guiding a person to enter what is known as a Theta brainwave pattern, the same brainwave as deep daydreaming or REM sleep (Rapid Eye Movement sleep).
During the daydreaming state, a persons' eyes are closed, and they are relaxed, but they remain aware and conscious. The Hypnotherapy process gives you a safe space to engage in a conversation with the Hypnotherapist.
Will I remain conscious?
Yes. You will remain aware and in control during Hypnotherapy. Many people experience having more control over their mind and body during the session than they do in their normal conscious state.
Will I lose control over my body?
No one has ever done anything involuntarily during Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is a process to guide you to resolve your issue and regain control over your life.
Does Hypnotherapy involve reliving traumatic experiences?
No. The imagery techniques used during Hypnotherapy do not cause patients to relive traumatic events or cause people to be further traumatised.
What happens during a Hypnotherapy  session?
Hypnotherapy is a resolution-focused therapy. During the session, you will discover jointly with your Hypnotherapist what is at the core of your issue and guide them to a resolution that disappears the impacting behaviour or the negative emotion.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is individual and has a unique configuration of issues to resolve. The number of sessions recommended for your condition or presenting problem is, on average, 3-4 sessions, not including any coaching sessions.
3-4 sessions are a guide only, and individuals may require fewer, or a more significant number of sessions, to address their needs.
What results will I experience from Hypnotherapy?
The Hypnotherapy process resolves core issues, removes self-doubt, and clients experience newfound freedom, confidence and purpose.
Results include: self-confidence, improved well-being, setting of life goals, the discovery of life purpose, knowing your place in the world, moving forward, freedom from holding back, freedom from the past, achieving goals, letting go of regrets, letting go of negative thoughts, letting go of limitations, while gaining focus and courage.
Does Hypnotherapy require ongoing management?
No. Hypnotherapy discovers what is at the core of your issue. It uses Hypnotherapy techniques to resolve and disappear the presenting problem.
